I have the same kit - painted and just waiting on doing a few more things. Are those wheels new from Tamiya?

the set is old, bought back in '95--they've never touched asphalt, they're just to pretty

but you can find some on ebay along with others, be ready to break bread:

r/c cars are fun, fun, fun, but i'd rather spend $ on the real thing

do it, you wont regret it

want a miata? click here:
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGYP4&P=7

you'll still need to purchase a radio, battery, and charger since the above mentioned only includes the kit....

when it comes to body mold and scale, tamiya is notch imo

I've got a Mini-Z and 5 xmods, as well as lots of spare bodies and 1/24 scale models. that was my hobby a couple of winters ago before I got my car, now it gets most of the available fun funds.

Ok - just to give you guys an idea of how inflation and collectors out there are willing to pay:

1) I bought this in 1984 for $79.95
http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamiya-Willys-Wh...QQcmdZViewItem

2) I bought this in 1985 for $89.95
http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamiya-The-FROG-...QQcmdZViewItem

And my favorite was Wild Willy - which is extremely rare - but $600!?!? Holy cow!
