Hello fellow ClubRoadster brothers and sisters.
Whew, where do I start? It's been two months since I last logged in, but I have been keeping abreast of CR happenings from behind the scenes. I would like to emphatically state: I have not abandoned ClubRoadster.net and it's members! As some of you may have read in a past announcement, I got laid off from my Dad's company back at the end of June. I am still not working at a full time job. As a lot of you know, the economy sucks ass, so I am hoping that all of you who are eligible exercised your right to vote today. It's been kind of depressing, and I have had some personal problems to sort through, but thanks to the help of my family and friends, I am still able to keep my house, my Roadster, and my sanity! For now, I get by from working on web sites for individual customers, money from CR.net sponsors, and the generous donations of our members here. Additionally, I have been working very hard on a HUGE project for my dad's company that should bring him back into the black. I'm not getting a regular paycheck, but he still pays my health insurance, and I am still an "employee". This huge project, in addition to working on other things to make money has consumed a lot of my time, but I have not forgotten about ClubRoadster.net and all of the things I have planned for us. This huge work project was finally completed and delivered earlier today, so I am now trying to catch up on all things ClubRoadster. If you have sent me a PM, I will answer it. If you have had a concern or question reflected in a post, I will do my best to get to it and provide an answer and/or any other attention it may need. After reading this post, if you still have a question or concern, please send me an e-mail at timallen@clubroadster.net so that I can readily recieve it and also more easily keep it archived. I would especially like to extend a HUGE Thank You to my Moderators, who have selflessly dedicated themselves to watching over CR.net in my absence. A couple of important changes are coming soon:
It's good to be back and I have a lot of catching up to do, but I am feeling good and excited to read all about what going on with you guys! Thanks again for your continued support and for being part of ClubRoadster.net! |

I've been unemployed for the past year, it absolutely sucks. But I just landed a nice job that pays regular paychecks, i'm pretty happy now
Keep your head up Tim, being unemployed completely sucks and is completely awesome at the same time. Unemployment is like having bad sex --it's bad, but at least you're getting laid! |
