Just noticed that My post in the classifieds section was deleted as well as my access to said section. No e-mail or PM, just wanted to know whats goin on...

But my question is what rule did I break? I had one car for sale, not posting multiples of the same thing. Nor was I posting anything offensive. Would like to know whats up here as I have been working with a few different buyers on here.

Yep, did that bump and just came back on to check and see if there was anything new and got a message that I "Do not have permission."

I guess they are "cleaning" any "useless" post in the market place. My last post there was a link to a thread letting a buyer know whether or not oem manual window cranks can work with LE door panels.

Yup, a banning from the marketplace took care of me being out of line.

Holy crap! Just clicked on the 'forum' button in the upper left hand side of the homepage and scrolled down... there is no marketplace at all!

I have to check a setting.

The current staff discussed this and you would be required to have 30 posts to be able to access that section.

Would be nice of the Admins would do announcements on rule changes. Looking in the Announcement forum section, nothing new.

I'm guessing somebody just dropped the ball. I can still access the sale section, but if access limitations for any reason, i would like to be PM'd as to why when i login atleast...

Kind of crappy. I've got less than 30 posts, but have had multiple positive transactions in the classifieds in the past.

Those of us who don't feel especially inclined to post random crap just get the shaft? Pretty poor decision making in my opinion.

Apologies to the folks I may have bought from in the future, I guess!

I think its a good thing. i will lead to a more active forum and less people just going on here for business alone. It makes a stronger community and less random people trying to make a buck.

30 posts is easily obtainable.

I can make it 40 posts and 30 days if you prefer it to be that way.

7. New User Registration Guidelines
All new users that have been approved during the registration process will not have the ability to create new threads in the Classifieds area.
This limitation will be removed once they have made a minimum of 40 posts and been active for 30 days on the forum
Any attempt to circumvent this new restriction will be met with an immediate ban and a reset of your post count and registration timer.
Multiple attempts will be met with a permaban.
