I have noticed recently that some people on M.net call NB's M2's. I haven't gotten used to this yet and always think that they are talking about M2 Inc... >.<
I haven't even heard anyone at Mazda dealerships or any literature refer to them as M2's.
And VWs and lots of other cars, MK/Mark is actually the correct designation for generations IMO
12. (usually initial capital letter) U.S. Military. a designation for an item of military equipment in production, used in combination with a numeral to indicate the order of adoption, and often abbreviated: a Mark-4 tank; an M-1 rifle.
yeah, that used to confuse the hell out of me any time I ever looked over there ...... I'd see a thread "M2 blah blah blah" rush to click on the link and only meet disapontment in the form of a NB #-o #-o #-o
any JDM-tyte car-elitist knows that you call a japanese car by its specific chassis code.
