Your taste in modified Roadsters and your deep pockets are incredible. If I'm ever in your neck of the woods I'm buying you pint (or three) at the pub.
The car does need some things doing to it. Luckily the paintwork and conversion on the car, front and rear has been done really well.
Ideally I would like a more retro red colour (if there is such a thing) but as the paintwork is good, its difficult to do.
At the moment the plan is short term:
1. Find the right type of retro dished wheels in either 13s or 14s.
2. Find and fit some classic style bucket seats like the cobra.
After that it will be to get some retro mirrors. I have some runabouts that need restoring so may use those.
I think I suit my username. Got my first mx5 about 11 years ago while I was in the middle of my days at uni.
Wish I had deep pockets but my enjoyment of mx5s keeps me poor though I am lucky that in the UK the prices of mx5s is very low at the moment.
After I bought the corns carb'd car I promised that would be it but this car came up and I thought it be nice to have another pitcrew while this one also benefited from the rear conversion.
these are the ATS Classic, they were common in the 70s and 80s on the Opels (Kadett B, Manta A, Opel GT and so on), I had a set in 14" (8x14 offset 10) on my Opel Commodore A GSE Coupe
^ Yep think your right. The shadows on the center concaves threw me on the first couple of pics. I was kinda shocked because I didn't think they made them 4x100...
Wasnt me mate. Dont think my mate who had the white pitcrew now has taken it to Bristol but would have to check with him.
