Does anyone have any details about this rare Lotus 7 inspired, Mazda Roadster based special? It is featured in Road&Ster #6 p.84-87. I'll try to scan some pics when I get the chance.

I would love to own/drive it for the rarity value but stylistically it is a bit of a cobble !!?

I have the article in one of my R&S's ... the side pop out driving lamps are quite neat though ...

Guys ,

I was looking around on the internet and found that the company that created this concept car back in 1996 is the same one that created the current 2008 Mazda Furai (foo-RYE) Concept car released this past year, they are out in California (of course) LOL maybe one of our ClubRoadster members could pay them a visit and see if they have anymore information or pictures of the MS007, or even if they own it? or sold it off?

If this is correct, these are the guys that created it. Can someone please pay them a visit and post up whatever info they still have on it?

Damn kids, get off my lawn! It's not normal and what I'm used to. Back in the day, Miata owners used these forums for boring stuff, with no pictures, and I used to use these forums and they were SOOO FUN! We didn't need no pictures or information on other fancy concept cars to make life good. I could forum with just a mouse and a keyboard, 10 miles uphill, both ways, in the snow...

Seriously??? Are you always such a grumpy old man!?!

I actually kind of like the version with the tubular roll bar. It's got a strange quirky appeal to me.

However, I greatly dislike the version with the molded roll bar.

It took me a minute to figure out why I kind of liked it in one shot but not in the other. It's amazing how one small detail like that can totally make or break a car aesthetically.
