Anyone know of a ti front driver fender out there?

On my last run on the dragon Sunday, my wheel ended up snagging the inside lip of my fender and bending it out. Had to pull off my wheel in the parking lot and used a pair of pliers to bend it back. Then on the drive home, it snagged it again and took several chunks out of my tires. So I ended up using a metal hammer to essentially roll my fenders in the parking lot of a Zaxbys lol. Looks slightly haggard.

Can't even really call insurance since I have a $500 deductible and I already priced out replacement parts being around $100.

I got pretty lucky.

I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

I'm going to see if I can just bend it back. It doesn't seem to have effected anything in how the car performs yet. I'm gunna take it to be aligned Wednesday. Since I'm good buddies with my alignment guy we'll work on it a bit while it's on the lift.

I already checked parts group and can get a 01+ subframe for about $100.

Is it a lot of work to drop and replace? Like, will it require dropping the trans/motor? Or can I get away with just dropping it and bolting up a new one without any of that?

You can keep the motor in. .

But you have to swap your suspension over. And steering.

So your going to need an alligment after also.

Damn! That sucks! Such a beautiful car! But, I am happy to hear its not terminal and an inexpensive fix. Looking forward to reading how it all turns out.

Hell when I got hit head on in my car, I posted a picture on Facebook. Within about 24 hours I had the entire car sold for parts incase it were to total. I mean, literally the entire car minus the damaged parts and body.

Everybody wants the MSM parts for some reason. I honestly don't get it, but maybe its because I own one.

I think Joe's maf relocate is superior to fm's, at least in dealing with extreme heat. My iat on 100+ days are consistently 20-30 degrees lower than a local guy with the fm setup. My boost source signal also holds boost better in high rpms.

The downside is a maf voltage too high code when boosting in rain.

I'm thinking a megasquirt and the maf 'relocate' kit minus the maf is the king of all.

But I need more space so I might sell my car... anyone want a 04 Ti with 66k that pretty much stock as hell?

Thinking about selling mine as well. I haven't driven it in about a month, and that doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Probably a bad sign.

It's not boring, it's just not a city car.

The gearing is too damn short, the suspension is too damn stiff, and the ecu is too damn retarded.

If I had the 3-4k to toss into it to fix all those issues it'd be perfect, but not perfect for what I need (gotta get groceries some days, and I hate driving the gfs civic).

It's quiet! I went from the HKS SSQV though. You can only hear it when shifting at full throttle, whereas a vta can be heard almost any other time.

Don't sell the MSM if you're going to get another car, I've been through this phase a few times in the last ~4 years. Kept it through paying for a wedding, having a baby, buying a house, a third car and a motorcycle. It's been the worst the past 2 years because it's been in the paint shop so many times and then been down for my build for almost a year.

Every time I think about selling it, I look at the other cars I'd like to get and compare performance, can't do it unless you're paying $30k+. Especially with all the shit I've done to mine, it'd be hard for me to throw it all away. Although, if you haven't done much to it and don't want to mod a car, not much holding you back.
