I noticed that. Fortunately the old information is archived on a few different sites and in some internet caches. arizonasun is working to compile a complete list of special editions released around the globe. There's more information at the following websites:
Thanks for the great link. I know it must have been an incredible amount of work to compile that data but it'd be even better if each special edition linked you to pictures of the cars, clubs and registries dedicated to the particular special edition, sales literature, etc. I hope that Club Roadster will continue to attract a world wide audience to share great information like this. I never check out German MX-5 sites and rarely explore UK MX-5 sites but they've been enthusiasts for as long as anybody and they've probably got tons of great info to share.
Note, this is a website put together by a UK Mazda dealer, so it would be very naughty to steal his scans.
