Okay, I have a really lame-o question, but mine does not have a plate on the dash, can I confirm that it IS an authentic V Special with my serial number? Who can I contact?
I always find it kind of amusing about HK MX5s; basically a UK spec car, but you go call it a V-special...
Eunos Roadster V-specials aren't numbered; they were just a regular production car, initially BRG only, later with black, and rarely. white. Yours is a 1600, HU green, with tan roof. Unless the VIN plate indicates its been resprayed, it is a V-Special, fwiw.
Only BRGs in certain export markets had a numbered plaque added by the importer; the plaque itself is pretty meaningless.
Stephen; you really ought to sort your front plate out.....
Its not Legal to do almost anything to the cars in HK.
