It featured some left over M2-1002 interior trim pieces such as the door panels and dashboard. I'm guessing an automatic transmission equipped Tokyo Limited is the rarest breed of production Miata\MX-5\Roadster ever built.
40 TLs were made; 20 manual, 20 auto. All were sold only through Tokyo dealerships during November 1993. The colour is the usual black, but unusually for a 93 black Roadster, mechanically the car was a S-Package, not S-Special (black at the time was normally only found on V-specs and S-Specs). The wheels it should have are the 14" 7-spokers familiar on most 94 Miatas. It was about 2 million yen when new. The M2-1002 was 3 million yen.....
Used M2 dash, (but standard clocks), M2 seats, main carpet, seatbelt trims, door tops. The door card bottoms had to be made up, as the TLs had power windows.
