i have 700 front/400 rear.... cars well maintained plugs are still good pulled one out over the weekend...i think this 130,000k mile engine just wants to take a poop and relax...time for a new engine :phillyb:

I feel u, the XIDA i put on, is getting loose in high speed corners like Riverside
i was doing 91~93mph, and car goes side way....
I could floor through riverside b4 with the TEIN FLEX
NOW i can only do half throttle
i don't know, i still haven't figure it out what's the best setting

even geos had a hard time fine tuning them......guess i gotta keep tryn different setups till i hit the G-spot on these Xidas....

I'll be there along with a few more Blackbird Fabworx customers who will be running the Miata Challenge as well .
I'll probably run one or two session in a single seater competition mode and then switch over to the two seater demo mode to give people fun runs for the rest of the day.

Please feel free to stop by and say hi, grab a card (I'll have the flyers in the robot stand ;) ) and have a look at the quality of work done at BFW.
We'll have a few different levels of set up to look at - from the street roll bars we'll have Patrick that has a GT3 6 point in his NA and Jeremy with the very first NC (!) GT3 6 pointer and possibly another customer with an NB will show up in his GT3 sixer equipped 10th AE.

Patrick's car -

Jeremy's car -

Erik's car (if he makes it) -

On the more track oriented cars we'll have Jenn in the White NA with runs the 10 point 3/4 cage and Ryan in his 12 point 3/4 cage equipped NA.

Jenn's car -

Ryan's car -

On the full on track prep front be sure to check out Creampuff, the BFW demo car which sports an 18 (!) point race cage, custom bodywork panels revolving around the lack of windshield and much more...

Creampuff -

Many of these cars had additional work done at Blackbird Fabworx, from seat and harness mounts to bodywork mods, performance improvements and so forth, so please let me know if you have any projects in mind!

Any reason the MC isn't showing on the website at the event registration page?
The AWD challenge is..

Real simple and convenient. Show up, register/get timing and stay till the end of the day. All sessions count toward the comp. At the end of the day there's an announcement for all Miata drivers and we share our times. Then give out trophies and gift certificates.

If you want other drivers to follow your times you can tell the timing guy to put MiataSt or MiataMod after your name for the timing.

No idea, but it sure isn't my pathetic ~115 WHP...
Last time Brian and I met on track was a long time ago, IIRC it was @ SOW around 2003 or so.
Brian had his demo car, a supercharged NB sporting many nice bits from his catalog and ~200 ponies, I had the Blackbird which was a total frankenstein with ~220 ponies at the time, home brewed aero and very street-ish suspension (and an open diff :fp:...).
Ended up with me having the upper hand on times, running 1:29's before any other miata broke into the 20's .
