Uh, as far as I know, most of us here in Charlotte have gotten rid of our Miatas. Nick (JDMAFLAC) is the only one I know who still owns two really nice ones. We have RX8 club meets twice a month that your more than welcome to join. PM me for details. JDMAflac and I get together atleast once every week or two. We're always up for meeting on weekends and such. Usually we do work on each others cars.

Edit: usually I do work on our cars while he gives moral support. haha JayKay.

lol when I was down there a few months ago, some guy in a blue NA showed up at a meet in a parking lot I went to... pretty much sayin his car was the shit. I can't remember what turbo setup he had but he said it was insane. Car was BEAT. Like, bad. Engine bay was white and dirty as all hell and just the whole car was.... ehh. Just not in that great of shape really.

But hmm NA3's statement affirms why I saw no Miatas while I was down there!

I must have missed hearing that you came down :\ I know what kid you're talking about... he is, different. A buddy of mine sold him some misc parts.

OP, yeah... I've sold mine too but would still get up for a meet. I never have gotten a chance to meet Nick and crew. Iamwutiam is in mooresville, his car is ever-evolving and I see it almost every day (his girlfriend works next to where i work)

If you actually like to drive your cars, a GTG in Statesville would be sweet. Some really good roads between there and Wilkesboro.

If I can know a week or so early, I could possibly come up that way from Raleigh. For whatever reason, mx-5 owners here just aren't into getting together often.

Yeah, I meant that we haven't gotten to get to know each other well. :\

Another get together would be awesome. I might be buying a place in statesville; house-warming party/tech-day? Thats still a few months out though.

How about this? We have our meet the same day "Cars and Coffee" has theirs. This way we can all meet up at a known place, meet/greet, look/talk about cars, grab some coffee, and than we can work on what to do from there afterwards. They have monthly meets on the first Saturday of every month.

It would probably be more worth while to just meet at Lake Lure one day and go to the Dragon for a drive. It's not that far away for a day trip. I've done it before, and so has Nick.

Wake up leave by 6am or so, meet around 11am at a midway place, have lunch, do the dragon in the afternoon, and go home that night. Then again, it's winter, so it would have to wait till spring.

Yeah, I like that idea as well. I haven't had a chance to make it down there.

NA3, how much room do you have at your place? I'm not closing for over a month, and the place needs new paint, windows, and the floors sanded/polished, so its going to be a while before it gets fixed up and I'm living in it.

Why don't we just make C&C a regular meet? It's only once a month. I'm sure most or all of us could make it out, and if not there are still plenty of people to talk to with nice cars. I'll be out there this coming month.

Faded, I have some room, driveway is a hill but I've got a garage to use... with air tools and such.

Alright then, Im guessing the next C&C meet will be February 6th from 8am - until. This also depends on the weather forecasted, i'll keep you guys posted on whats going to happen.

Brad: Want to meet up beforehand?

yep. Got lots of work to do to the Nissan here soon. Ordered front lower control arms, tie rods/ends, boots, rear rotors/pads, and bought some rear speakers that need to be installed.

Also, Brandon will be coming over one of these weekends to do the body work so I can hopefully get it painted with tax money.
