Default Miata day(s) in Connecticut

~>Miata day thread<~
(((PICS INSIDE)))

the most informal meet/cruise possible. get up wicked early, get coffee and get lost on backroads. If anyone is in Connecticut, hit me up if you're crazy enough to join us .

We roll mostly around the east side of the CT river, but I am planning a trip to the northwest corner in a few weeks. I'll post up when the details come together.

sweeet. by the way, my wife love your avatar. we probably won't run for a few weeks, everyone is going to be on vacation, but we're def going to be doing something in the fall. My buddy ran into another miata club later in the day, so we might end up with a caravan! whoot! 8)

If you can give enough notice for the next time you are going to meet I would be interested in going and I am sure my friend would come as well.

Wow. I miss my home state.

I remember in high school skipping school with a buddy to drive the backroads of Avon, Torrington, Windsor, East Granby, Suffield into east Enfield. I wish I remember the exact route because it was always a blast.

Take pics guys!!!!

Yeah man, for 20 years.

Grew up in Hartford, then moved out to Windsor then to Suffield. Went to UCONN before I partied myself out, lol.

I remember driving down to Manchester Honda back in the day just to marvel at a RC-30 motorcycle they had for sale.

I picked up my new motor today. its a short nose unfortunately.

but since I am tearing it down it should be back together and running within the month. hopefully all the tolerances are good, if not great.

then I am down for the drive.

P.S. miatajim@cox.net if you need more info

I went to the Dutchess roadster meet last week. Along with my son and another buddy. 12 cars, nice folks just hangin' out. Nutmeg Miata Club tech day the following day. More nice folks and more cars. WE are up for just about anything anytime as long as we get to drive our cars and meet other Miata nuts.

Drop us a line...

WE should do a more local meet this weekend. Nothing formal, just a meet and greet someplace a bit closer than Fishkill, NY.

Plainville and Waterbury are way too close to not get together.

Lets try and do a breakfast drive either Saturday or Sunday morning. Early. Like meet around 8am, drive for a bit..breakfast, then drive some more

As soon as I nail down a buddy of mine I'll post something.

Alright folks...lets get together on Saturday morning 8am at the CITGO station off the exit ramp to Colonial Ave, Rt 8 North in Waterbury. I believe that is Exit 35.

WE will run up some of my favorite roads to New Hartford for breakfast, then cruise a few more roads in that area and back to Waterbury. Low key fun drive...

I have 3 cars committed. Myself, my son, and a buddy. All NA's.

Lets try and get a few more for a nice saturday morning drive.
