lol, I think he needs to get his facts straight. In SM it's against the rules to have an aftermarket top, but every other class there's nothing against it.

bahah we should look at it for like 2 hours then just leave
In other news who is bringing what to ORP next weekend? greddygalant, Curly, and Oregonmon.. I plan on getting an ice chest situated and somewhat well stocked. If anyone wants to bring more drinks that would be cool too. Shade canopy? I have one as well. Bring it too? I will also have a floor jack but not sure if I will have room for stands. |

I will be bringing two 2 ton floor jacks and a jack stand, along with copious amounts of tools, oil, water, Gatorade, and other stuffs. There's also a small chance I'll be changing into shorts between sessions. Someone bring their AC equipped DD.

Any recommendations are fun roads around here? I am usually in the NW hills, along McNamee right before Cornelius pass, or the road to Christmas tree mountain, but wouldn't mind some more suggestions...how about by Mt. Hood or the Gorge, or back roads to the coast?

Logie Trail Road. But be prepared for it to swallow your car alive. I haven't gone done it in a long time because it's so chewed up.

Video from The Ridge last weekend. My Teamate Tom Ferrara and I (Dani's Dad) decided to start at the rear of the pack and just play around. I'm driving like 8/10ths the whole video as I was sick, but really loved the track, a MUST DRIVE if you're interested in track events. In other news, working on securing a shop. More details later. |

Yes, but the 944's up there are hard to gauge because they're inconsistent and don't use most of the track. Oddly enough, I was 3 seconds faster then any lap in that video during qualifying on Sunday, I qualified 3rd behind two 993 porsche's.

Drove the long way to the coast yesterday, out here until Sunday. However, took the 53 off of 26 down to Nehalem. By far the most entertaining road I have been on in a long, long time. Had the good fortune of following a local, waves and smiles exchanged at the end. I would say it was 30-45 mins long, 55mph limit on single lane, no traffic, but just amazing corners of all kinds.

Shy away from Flyin Miata adjustable cam gears. Had them lose adjustment, wouldnt tighten, ended up shearing and causing all sorts of damage.
