hey all i am looking for an NA miata in any color. mileage under 150k would be nice! hardtop would be a plus. Please let me know what you guys have!

I am in Seattle, WA so any NA's around Seattle and as far as Portland would work!

thanks for the words of encouragement! yeah i have settled in the past for colors and now I want to be certain and I don't want to sell myself short this time. I want a Montego blue for sure! yeah it's a waiting game for me right now. Just waiting for that montego blue to come up on craigslist!

Maybe you've already thought about this but would you consider buying a different colored car and get it painted (professionally, no maaco stuff) montego blue? That way you would have 0 imperfections. You said you don't want to settle but if you're really wanting a specific color, I'm sure you want that paint to be in good condition. That's going to be hard to find on a 15-20yr old car unless it was one of those with 5k miles asking $20k. Just a suggestion, I think that you may be waiting all this time only to end up with a stale 15 yr old paint job and possible other defects because it was hard to find that color. Not saying that the perfect car isn't out there, but it may be quicker and cheaper (less mechanical repairs) to buy a solid one and get it painted.

ninja edit - expand country wide, or at LEAST to California. You could fly down Friday and be back Sunday if you found one in the massive ocean of Miatas that is California.

i mean i want the paint to be in good condition but since i am looking for a car that is 15 years old i can hardly expect anything to be perfect and really, I am totally fine with that. I am scared that all i will find are stale cars but I am hoping with all this waiting that something will show up. And yes i have thought about buying a different color and getting it painted. But for now i'm just playing a waiting game to see if i can find a montego locally. I am expanding my search out to California as well.

Stormin' might be looking to sell his recently acquired '93 LE (black with red interior).

I've been seeing a lot of those lately. people thinking their miatas are worth 6k and up being all stock and "mint" with 100k low miles. at least turbo it right and then try to sell it at 6k.....

Seen a few really nice condition m-editions for around 6k too with like 80k miles, which is a bit more reasonable, but still crazy

People are just trying to make a buck off the good weather. Just wait til the end of summer. There'll be a bunch of good deals when people realize they have no place to store their summer car

when we went to go look at his car before buying it, it was far from perfect and was behind on maintenance. not to mention it was dirty as heck inside and out. Probably could have gotten it for cheaper as the guy who sold it was an older guy and was looking to pretty much get rid of it, but he was a pretty nice guy. reasonable price

buy this ASAP, I have ridden in this car and it is very clean and a perfect starting point. I know the miles are a tad higher than you're looking for but this car is solid and the paint quality is very very good
