Default idle issues...

yes i have done research and hjave tested a few things...no help, it started the other day after it warms up ill come to a stop and th eidle will go to about 1900rpms..... now if i have my foot on the break it will drop idle to about 1100 and rise and drop and rise and drop, if i dont have my foot on the break it will stay about 1900 and start getting hot any ideas???

sounds like a vacuum leak at the brake booster, try replacing the vacuum lines

^This. Check all the vacuum lines that you can. Mine was idling at 1100rpm and would go higher if I turned my "a/c" switch on. Turns out that one of the lines that goes to the charcoal canister was off. She idles perfectly now.

well when i turn the ac on the idle drops to 1100?? but i will check them first thing tomorrow, my main concern at the moment it tires its just pissing me off hearing this ricer idle

Total brake booster vacuum leak. Is usually just a worn vacuum line.
