So Miami gets a player who never gets called for fouls (Lebron), one who gets calls for him all day (Wade) and that other guy who I don't think I have seen a single game he played in. I feel for their opponents, having 50 fouls called against you and the Heat having 5 for the game.

Am I the only one on the planet that doesn't give a flying **** about Lebron James?? Until yesterday, I had no idea why people were so obsessed with talking about him. He switched teams, athletes do this everyday? Why are NBA players looked at as super human?

Maybe my dislike of basketball has something to do with it...

I don't care about any player in particular, I care more about the TEAM, cause it is a "team sport". I think this fiasco that Lebron did was RETARDED. He made a big deal out of NOTHING. Yeah, he's good, but take away the friendly Stern-controlled refs, and he would be having a hard time posting up the numbers everyone is used to.

Miami is gonna be a hard team to beat, that's for sure, but I'm expecting on the egos of the "big 3" to break it up sooner than later.

NBA players aren't looked at as super human.. just Lebron. Reason being, he's a hype monster. That's the reason for all this drama, and it has been like this even before he came into the NBA. It's the nature of media at it's best. He wants the attention and become a billionaire, and hype is what it takes. This is why all companies even University of Phoenix, wants a piece of the Lebron action. The exposure is out of this world. Lebron is just trying to be greater than Jordan, Ali, etc. in popularity. We'll see what happens, pressure's on now to beat the purple and gold. I can't wait to see the match up. =)

tons of star players are super human when they are young bro. you should try watching basketball more often. Kobe, jordan, magic, iverson, and countless others are incredibly athletic in their early years. as they go on, they develop their skill.
