Default Any bit torrent people on here?

I would really like a complete MAME set for the latest version.

How do I get started doing the torrent thing?

download Azureus, which is probably the best client

read up on it on

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azureus

find a site where you can downloard torrents

if you're behind a router, you'll want to forward the correct port to the computer running BT, or else it'll be S L O W.

Personally, I don't use the Azureus style torrent applications...
It's easier IMO to just download from various sites with plain old Bit Torrent (or Bit Tornado if you don't want to pay the originator)
Some sites include...
www.bittornado.com (to download the program)
www.torrentspy.com
www.isohunt.com
www.piratebay.org
www.torrentreactor.net

and there are many more out there

(I didn't post any links, but there are many...er...more adult themed torrent sites out there too if that strikes your fancy )

I use bit torrent (Azereus) quite often. Esspecially when there is a new season of Top gear or for complete disk cogs.

No, I was asking about MAME, but I got the full set a while ago.

Any tips would be welcomed, though.

Please don't forget to tell Tim about the auxiliary programs he should be running in addition to bit torrent. Tim at the very least you should have a firewall and some kind of dynamic traffic blocking program such as Peer Guardian.

Azureus is my favorite client... Mininova, IsoHunt and TorrentSpy are my favorite places to find torrents.
