I'm in the market for a decent digital camera and wanted to see what everyone is using. I'm not trying to spend a whole bunch of money. I would really just like a camera that takes some fairly decent pictures. I'm just really getting into photography and really just need a good digital camera for beginners for less than $500. If you could post the camera you recommend and a pic I'd greatly appreciate it.

Less than 500? You can go with a Canon 30D,battery grip, and a kit lens. Often times I'll see the same things i mentioned with a 50mm for about 450- 500 on ebay/Craigslist.
I sold my 30D, gripped, with a kit lens for 450 a few months back. I shoot with an olympus EP-1 right now and have a XSI, as well. |
