![]() My SS crew at Tsali ![]() My other SS is Ti, Kona King Kahuna w/eno eccentric rear hub, sweetness. ![]() Before the kid, my wife and I flew all over the US and rocked the 5" travel Ventana tandem. After the kid, not so much. This is the only pic I have at work. Santa Anna River Trail in Angelus Oaks, CA. ![]() And the neglected red headed stepchild. Man, i swear everyone's getting back into their bikes. I spent the weekend getting my MTB back into shape too. Had to flip the thumb shifters into finger shifters since my thumb still isn't healed but it gets the job done. Of course, then I snapped the chain. Go me!
I want another BMX. Back in the day I used to have one my folks picked up 2ndhand. big, heavy steel frame they said used to belong to a friend of theirs that raced semi-pro. Dunno if it was true or not (it was a heeeavy bike). but damned if i don't miss that bike now and want something like it again. |

Fixed gear SUCKS. I don't know how you people do it. I guess it's a progression stage where eventually you realize how sucky it is then move to better things like that dope-ass Biachi and old-school Peugot, kinda like ricers, haha.
Oh, here's my bike..

Fixed gear is what all the scenesters and bike snobs ride around here.
I want to make a rat road bicycle. I used to flatland on my BMX bike when I was younger, I actually got pretty good at it then just lost interest. I forget what bike I even had...I do remember it was nice though, brake gyro in the front, pegs, very easy to flick around. Man, kinda makes me want to get back in a parking lot balancing on a tiny ass bike...haha |

Just started riding a road bike with my father-in-law. He's been riding for years now and sucked me into it. It's a blast and way less destructive on my body than the last 10 years of skateboarding was. My ride is a 2004 Cannondale R600 with a couple upgrades.

You sold a Cortina for an IRO? They're only like $600 new complete. I can't even imagine getting rid of a Cortina for a famous NJS approved bike unless it was a total rust bucket.

![]() the nearest paved parkinglot's at least a 10 minute drive from where i live though, and this is a bit of a hassle.. so i don't ride as much as i'd like to

You can sort of see it hanging there - its a Fisher Kai Tai. I don't ride all that much so haven't bothered to get anything new in a very very long time. This is fine for time with the kid.
