Anyone here into Freestyle Mountain biking/ dirt jumping? I've been thinking on getting either a GT Rukus, Mongoose Fireball or a Cannondale Chase 4 since I never fit on a standard BMX bike. Anyone have any experience with these?

I like Blankets creek too, I just figured that Sope Creek was a better ride for a group. Blankets you have to ride single file on the singletrack and its hard to laugh and cut up with others. I go alone when I want to train or with only one other person. But anyway whatever...I dont care where I just thought it would be fun for some Miata guys and/or gals to have a fun little ride. I think we should have a slow group too for the stragglers that dont ride much. I'll be the one at the back of that group!

Nice a bike thread, i dont really ride much but this is my cruiser for big races out at the track to go scoot around on in the paddock area. Its an original schwinn stingray i origianlly bought when i was 15 at a yard sale for $30 but man was it fucked it could have been turned into a rat bike. anyway from there i spent about a year just compiling parts and getting things painted and after about a year it was put together and is how it is now. Since then i never had a use for it until going to big races at the track and cruising around on it and tons of people seem to want to take pictures with it and things its really a lot of fun. Anyway here's the pic ignore the toilet in the background lol

Here's mine.. do more road/touring riding than mtn but I attached a pic of my FSR as well.
Bianchi EV4 (bottom of post, not the touring bike) with Record and alot of carbon bits. Since this pic I have a carbon seat post and Look Keo carbon pedals. Shimano = no no on this ride  |

Hey jmack, since your girlfriend doesn't ride that Cramerotti anymore, how much would you be willing to sell it for?

All I have left are the pics of it's glory days. Special bike though, I put about 22k over 7 years on it and did my first 300km ride on it, rode it to school and work for a long time. I kinda wish I had 5 more frames like it though. They are great rides and cheap, I think the frame was $400 or something. |

I don't know if they have one in stock but they do carry Orbea. Yeah, it's a great shop to deal with. I even stayed at Kevin's (the owner) parent's house in PA when I did the single speed world championships in '05.

man...I should acquire my dads old schwinn 10 speed. gold and silver decals on burgundy, great condition but just been sitting for years, all original except for tires of course..
I always enjoyed riding it better than any of my bikes, so smooth and fast. |
