Default Free VIN check from Auto-Check

I found this trick for free vehicle history reports on a Honda forum & I thought I might take the liberty of sharing it with you gents.

Step 1: Go to Google
Step 2: Search: dealer autocheck inurl:vin
Step 3: Look for a very recent result with some sort of car dealership affiliation such as: http://moonhonda.com/inventory/autoc...FF28BX9D208011 (http://moonhonda.com/inventory/autoc...FF28BX9D208011)
Step 4: Replace the VIN at the end of the link with yours & hit enter.

Option 2:

https://autocheck.dealersuite.com/au...62&UID=12267TX

Input your vin between the = and & i.e. VIN=YOURVINHERE&UID=12267TX

Done!

No, this is not some cheap junk mail lame checker. It's legit. I just ran it on three different cars. Option 2 works best.

Here's what I know about my car:
It's been stolen, the previous Owner was a slob, it's been repainted poorly, it was previously uninsured, unregistered, and driven on stolen tags, and it has 180k on it.

Done it both ways multiple times. Looks like option 2 doesn't like me after I run a few VINs.

What are you guys trying? I literally just tried and the first option works for me.

Do not click on any of the links he posted, they will no longer work. Option 1 will work if you go to google and type in: "dealer autocheck inurl vin" Then click on the first link. Replace the vin that shows up in the url bar with the vin you want to look up. Done.

Those are examples. Did you google search this.. dealer autocheck inurl:vin
Results came up for me and I clicked on the first non google sponsored link. It was a ford link.

Option #1 worked fine for me, I got the Ford link too. My cars a little whore, title has transferred 11 times since '89 including myself, but most look like dealerships sending to auction, and one little accident in '92. Still not worried, it drives great, that's all I care about

Wow, this is pretty awesome! I didn't know much about my car before. But now I know it had a accident in 1991 and that it is from Florida!

Kick ass.

1. Third owner
2. No accidents
3. First owner owned the car from 1987 until 2007
4. No repo
5. Other of the same cars got a score of 13 through 37, mine got a 40
6. Never failed a smog

I now love my car 50x more.

Best method, was about to post the same thing for others.

As a side note, anyone looking at selling their cars or on edge about selling their car, save this webpage as a PDF or .html file. That way you can use it when selling your car, if you have a clean autocheck, lol. I saved both for my cars and I'm not even considering selling.
