You know, this is a pretty complicated subject.

At first I felt like I wanted to punch every single one of them in the face as hard as I could until I couldn't muster up any more strength. They contradict themselves in everything they do and say, and I couldn't think of any other way to get through to them.

But, after watching the entire "documentary," I feel bad for them. Well, let me clarify that - I feel bad for the ones that never really had a choice and were forced into that lifestyle and way of thinking. The others, well...they're just screwing themselves. But, the little kids...the ones who don't even understand what the sign means that they're holding...they shouldn't be forced into thinking what the others tell them to. They should be able to have a choice and to live their lives to the fullest and be happy. The older siblings are just as bad, considering they have the want to explore other thoughts and to open their minds but the fear of being ostracized from the family prevents them from venturing on their own.

All the family really does is condemn themselves and their children. If they hate America so much, then why don't they move to a country where they can't even speak their mind because nothing is allowed that doesn't comply with their religion?

I agree with what you say.

And as much as I'm against homosexuality, and everyone is entitled their own opinion....damn, those people are nuts!

Ok... Personal opinions aside, I feel it neccessary to correct some of what she is fasly preaching. This is simply what the bible says!

First:
We are charged to Love one another (Matthew 19:19) as we love our neighbors. The bible does not go into description of our neighbors, so we must assume that there are no criteria by which we should love. Therefore, we must love everyone; be they black, white, yellow, pink w/ purple polka dots, homosexual, heterosexual, or just plain confused. Jesus loved all people and we are called to imitate him (1 Corinthians 11:1)

Second:
GOD doesn't just love christians he loves everyone (John 3:16)!!! He loves ALL of us so much that he gave his only son. By all I mean ALL, everyone; regardless of race, creed, or sex. And he is no respecter of persons (Galatians 2:6); therefore we again see that it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from. Jesus surrounded himself with a bunch of low-lifes, tax collectors, and prositutes who were equally unwelcome in the church as homosexuality is today. I wish the whole world would reach out a helping hand as opposed to a swift punch.

Third:
We are not allowed to judge other people (Matthew 7:3-4) until we can look at ourselves and find no fault. What good would it do for me to point out everyone elses sins when I am sinning equally as much.

Not to be a complete ass, but have you read the old testament? =;

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." Leviticus 20:13

Just to name one of the many...

What is preached is not necessarily false or true as all things in theology are subjective to the interpretations given to it by each individual.
