I'm sort of tripping out about the last car I worked on today. A lady came in for a tire repair, but we were just closing. I told her I wouldn't be able to do it, but I could quickly throw the spare tire on and we could do it tomorrow. She had me do that. I pull the car into the shop. In the car there is a pile of blankets on the passenger seat. After I jack up the car and take the wheel off a kid comes out from under the blankets. I'm kind of worried that I might get in trouble about the kid being in there. That's a pretty big safety issue.
I'll talk to manager tomorrow explaining the situation. I'm worried about it though.
No, she didn't make an issue. I'm worried about it because my manager likes to complain just for the sake of complaining. He'll complain about everything although I do it right. If they look at the cameras he'll say something even though he realizes it was a mistake. If he does look then I'm more than likely getting talked to.
I've always wanted a G35/37 coupe. I drove a G35 sedan the week I got married. Probably the only time I'll ever rent a "luxury" class vehicle, and it was totally worth it. The '37 coupe is one of the more beautiful "obtainable" cars I've ever seen.
Just about every G coupe down here is slammed with stupid offset wheels. Some would make Jon's miata look like a 4x4 if that is even possible. Im talking full on scraping while driving on the highway and sparks are flying everywhere.
I ended up renting a 2011 G37 sedan and taking it out to WSIR (among other places).
Not only was in a beautifully appointed ride, I was hitting almost 130 at the braking marker for turn 1.
And riding the bumpers for other folks in their 350Zs and EVOs in turn 2.
Yeah. Glorious car, for sure.
It was very hard to return it, that's for sure.
Funny...there are not one, not two, but three G37 coupes that park where I work. All three are relatively stock, and one of them is driven by a VP-level guy who I actually respect quite a bit. Guess it has to do with the fact that I work in the nerd cave (our company's IT center).
