I also bought some new pans the other day. Comparable to All-Clad and for a fraction of the price, yes please

Tramontina tri-ply clad cookware

Last night we made grilled shark (I know, I know, it's the first time in like 8 years I've eaten it) that I marinade in soy sauce, Worcestershire, garlic and fresh ginger, brussels sprouts leaves recipe from Katsuya (Steve!), and "mashed cauliflower" (boil cauliflower and garlic, drain and put in food processor with a little butter and smoked gouda). Yum.

Nice. When I was brewing I used a dual-zone version of these controllers to control the cold (power to freezer) and hot (power to incandescent bulb) temps inside a fermentation freezer. Beer quality improves tenfold when you can have a precise temperature range for the yeast.

I had fried "rice" for lunch... Riced cauliflower, some veggies, eggs, langoustines (frozen sadly), and topped with some aminos for a little kick. Some cashews and almonds for fat, watermelon for fruit. I'll have a Larabar and some more nuts in a bit... then... we're going to a burger joint for dinner. UGH! I love big greasy burgers and shakes!!!

Check it out. Their commercials are at least mildly entertaining... http://lunchboxlaboratory.com/

Nice. I had a salad for lunch. Romaine, red onion, avocado, jack cheese, corn tortilla chip "croutons" and a creamy cilantro dressing. From a local place.

We made some breadless BLTs that were pretty damn good. Used hearts of romaine, a smear of homemade "Ranch" dressing, sliced cherry tomatoes, and a slice of uncured organic bacon. They were damn good. Do recommend.

I do that, but make baconweave as the "bread". add some avocado, cheese tomato. dip in a little salsa, or ranch.

Next level bacon weave... damn.

Also made these this weekend. SUPER damn good.

http://www.paleonewbie.com/paleo-roa...otatoes-recipe

They were even better for breakfast. I browned them in a little clarified butter and they crisped up real nice.

Ugh, paleo. I'll never understand these diet trends... reduce sugars and processed foods, eat realistic portions, profit.

Don't worry, boo. I'm not on a paleo kick but trying to find some lean and clean recipes you end up on such sites. My wife did the Whole 30 and we're carrying forward those trends. Protein, vegetables, fruits, and fats at every meal. Trying to stick with organics, free range, etc. where we can... especially when you eat the skin.

Breakfasts!

Field greens. Drizzle of EVOO. S&P. Some leftover steak. Egg over medium. Avocado. Blackberry coconut mild smoothie. Coffee.

Same stuff plus leftover mustard potatoes from above, browned in clarified butter. Fruit bowl with strawberries, bananas, toasted coconut, and chopped cashews. That's such a good combo.

Grilled organic sirloin. Those same damn potatoes. Grilled zucchini. Bogle Essential Red blend.

If you're real G's and follow on IG you've already seen these.

I have a nice old well seasoned cast iron. It was my wife's grandmas. I haven't yet perfected my hella butter spooned over the steak game.

1.25" thick steak
Oven on 500
High-heat sear steak on cooktop, 30s per side (with butter for maillard)
3.5 minutes per side in oven for medium-rare, +1min / side for each doneness level

How is that potato recipe "paleo"? Did you walk under the paleo tree to harvest some dijon mustard? I'm totally ignorant to this latest diet trend, I openly admit. I thought paleo was foods that early humans ate. Therefore fruits and veggies with a little meat, nothing processed, no grains, no nuts. No? It sounded attractive to me a year or so ago because I thought that combined with organic it would be very healthy, but then I saw so many "tricks" it reminded me of doing Atkins 15 years ago.

If your diet says to eat cauliflower, just eat it. Don't mash it up into a "pizza crust", cover it with marinara and cheese and tell me it's pizza. Just eat your damn cauliflower.

Not to be taken personally by anyone here currently on paleo.

Eff that noise. If you can make good food, then make good food. If you can't, learn how.

Google says Paleo is a diet based on the types of foods presumed to have been eaten by early humans, consisting chiefly of meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit, and excluding dairy or grain products and processed food.

Annie's makes a few different condiments in paleo friendly recipes. There's another brand that also makes some amazing salad dressings. I don't think it's so much agreeing with paleo as not disagreeing with it. There are no dairy, grain, or processed foods or products in it.
