Default relieving stress on manifold

well ill be getting a greddy kit, and its a gift from the family for making it to RN program. I was looking at the begi-s kit but was too late till they gave the receipt for it.
So i was wondering how do i releive stress on the manifold?

Hey medic welcome to the club. 1st advice I have for you is sell the greddy kit and get the Begi kit. Go over to www.miataturbo.net There is a whole greddy section where you can find all the info you need.

Basically described above, but I'll add a little more detail. You're actually cutting the manifold flange into 4 seperate pieces, thus allowing flex due to heat expansion. I'll see if I can dig up a picture for you of a friend that recently installed a Begi kit if you need it, just pm me and I'll do my best.
