Turbo on miata stock engine
I dont know if this is the right place to post this,if not please mods move it!
Who of you have a turbo kit on its stock miata engine? i mean WITHOUT aftermarket pistons and rods? And what is your setup?

100% stock 2000 motor, 9.5:1 compression.
Add Garrett 2554R turbo, intercooler, and megasquirt. Street tune for stock wastegate boost. *starts at 5.5 psi and at 4500 starts creeping up to 8.5 psi at redline* Make 186.21 hp at 6900 RPM and 159.2 tq at 5900 RPM on a dynojet at sea level. The only thing you have to worry about is getting a good tune and you wont blow stuff up. Well, maybe your clutch, but yeah, stockies are weak anyway. |
