Default sr20det nb just finished

http://www.youtube.com/user/COFF1NNA1L#p/u

(yes i believe thats LawrenceC's car as the background on my youtube page)

i recently finished a year log project. i know i'm not the first to do it in a miata, but does anyone know if i'm the first to do it in an nb?
its not just an engine conversion its the intire driveline from an s13.
parts consist of ,
carbonetics clutch type LSD with custom summersbrothers race axels
built sr20det (eagle rods, CP pistons, acl duraglide bearings)
s15 t28turbo, godspeed frontmount intercooler, koyo radiator, dual 14"e-fans with adjustable thermo switch, custom dumptube and downpipe feeding dual 2.5" cherrybomb turbo mufflers with 350z tips
walbro 255 intank custom fitted
w71c trans with megan short throw shifter and coast driveline custom driveshaft

things it took to make it all work
custom oilpan and pickup
firewall modification on driverside
custom motor moints
trans mount adapters
custom driveshaft
only 8 wires are needed to make it run
custom mounts and heavy modification to the rear subframe (non that effect the geometry)
custom rear axels
s13 clutch line needs to be used but rebent and an s13 brake line replaces the softline a bonjo bolt is used to allow clearance for the slave cylinder
thes13 intercooler setup was modified to fit (had to loose the a/c)
the s13 radiator fits pretty well just had to make a lower mount for the studs to go into s13 radiator hoses work aswell with only an inch or so cut off of the bottom hose

So sick to see this thing finished. I bought the header, PPF bolts & something else off of you several months back.

I know it's been awhile but still got the miata motor by any chance?

We should meet up again soon, I wanna see this thing running & I don't think you'll recognize my car at all LOL

Is this a planned sleeper (innocent looking exterior), or are you just not to that point in the build yet? Pretty awesome, even though I'm an LS-swap fanboy. Also, do you know how much the car weighs?

the videos are of the car with no exhaust and no tuning thats stock boost. in my s13 all these same parts were making in the neiborhood of 400whp. i fried my tuned ecu so its running on a spare stocker, as for the sleeper status it will be less than flashy when its done. stock aero, hardtop, coilovers, and some wheels/tyres as much tyre as possible which seems to be 245 without huge camber changes

Seems foolish to do so much work on the swap and then give up so soon. You're going to be way upsidedown on this project (forever I assume) so you may as well keep it and enjoy it.

the camera was a blackberry. i'm gonna buy a decent mini cam and make a mount for it for track days.

i never wanted to get rid of it but i had some debts i needed to pay off. i took care of it so there is no need to sell anymore.

moving forward on the project and there will be updated as soon as i make some noteworthy progress

got a new addition in the car one of these neat little buggers http://www.gtechpro.com/prod.html

i got her on a truck scale the other day so i could get an acurate reading she weighs in a 2,330 with a half a tank.
one of the cool things the gtech does is measures usable HP. which measured on my car as 242hp and an instantanious Gs of .74 from 2nd to 3rd gear .41 continued Gs still on 205 street tires

seen people use AEM on sr's and do nothing but want to rip their hair out for ever buying it. for so much less money its just so much easier to just do a power fc

if the ems is set up properly it offers a few thing that the apexi doesn't. like antilag launch control abs based traction control and lots of expandability
