The car is a 2001 special edition, lsd. We started out by taking the second blown motor out of the car. Blown details are as followed...really bad rod knock that became really really bad rod knock that just blew up. Anyways we got rid of that.
![]() Notice the last piston. ![]() I then proceeded to do some cosmetic work and got rid of the bottom front rail support crap and replaced it with something a little bit stronger. ![]() After that I went on to mounting the front mount and a front crash bar. ![]() Now i Basically Took everything out of the engine bay power steering, ac, cruise control ect. Grabbed one of out mock motors and dropped it in to start getting some measurements and what not. ![]() ![]() ![]() Will be updating everyday as this project never ends. |

Will do. Is this car going to compete in any events or is it all show?

Me either!! I'm exited to see what the engineer comes up with. We are having a bit of a problem with the turbo mounting being to close to the left side of the firewall. So we might have to do a manifold or figure out a way to use the stock manifold. We want to make it as easy as possible to do the swap with out having to cut or change anything in the engine bay.

@bayside.. I ordered my red top friday so it should be here either today or tomorrow.. exited!!
ok we are still working on the kit. About the pricing i can't really tell you how much its going to be, but i can tell u it will be very reasonable. Actually down right cheap. If you look at out Adapter plate kits for our other cars thats kinda of a price range we do things. Seeing as this kit will probably include a drive shaft as well we cant really make up a number right now. We are focusing more on the kit first. |
