I am still not sure you want to point to it in a picture? The only "tube" by the TB I could think of would be for the ISC valve.

He is talking about the isc and the little tube that runs to the vc.

Didn't mess with the fuel lines I had that problem when I swapped motors (94 to 94) took me forever to figure that out .
Check engine light comes on but if I just leave it it will shut off I think . I'm thinking its either a ground or maybe my tb sticking idk going to pull it off and clean it tonight check grounds and go from there . |

Not 100% sure if I have it on all 4 I only checked #1 . I have 94 so I don't think I have the ignitor unless you mean coil packs and they should be fine I replaced thing before I did my swap .I could try hooking up my COPs and see if they work but I don't think it will help.

The one on the left is to your isc mine is pulling air from the atmosphere. No tube running to it. Right side I cannot remember what it is.

OK cleaned the grounds and even made one from the battery to the one that sits under the master cylinder it didn't work .My next one will go from the battery to the one under the throttle body . I can't seem think of anything else . It also looked as if my TPS was off as i tested it the way the book says too. Well that didn't work i'm going to just remove the intake and see if it will start with out it .
Cleaned the injectors and checked the plug wires IDK going to wait till the weekend when i have some more time and see if i can just trace all the wires . |

If it was a ground something would not work at all, you already confirmed fuel and spark I thought?

Yeah fuel and spark are fine and all 4 are getting spark , I got a nice shock again last night but it was worth it . As far as something not working IDK ,something isn't working because the car isn't starting . I'm going to check for codes but i'm pretty sure i'll be throwing one or 2 just from the stuff that was deleted .But i don't think it will show up because the car hasn't run .

You didn't mess with the timing belt at all did you?
If it is a 1.8 check wiring for crank sensor, check the MAF, CAS, and TPS sensors wiring. |

Didn't mess with the timming,MAF is reading fine when key is on can't get a reading with it running but that shouldn't matter . If it was bad it would just run like poop. CAS I need to check to see if any wiring is bad it souldnt be but you never know.TPS was off (reading wise) but since it was adjusted its in the right range. Does any know the right way to check the CAS wiring CAS it self should be fine its pretty new from a low mileage car . It might be something I pulled out a relay or something thinking it was for the door buzzer I need to see if I still have it or if I throw it in the trash.

The larger tube on the right side just behind the oil breather tube is one of the Helmholtz resonators. The other one is on the side of the stock air intake tube to the stock air filter box.

Ok i just went out side and pulled the codes the car is throwing .
08-Airflow meter 12-TPS 34-IAC Question 1 is is the IAC the valve under the throttle body . I extended those wires solder them together i believe i had them like this for a while now so i don't see why all of a sudden they went bad. #2 TPS i can't remember if i extended these or if they were long enough to reach i still need to pull back the electrical tape an see . #3 Airflow sensor this i know might be a problem with the extension i made i will check and double check them to see if its bad but it was my understanding that this would just cause the car to run like poop. Would any of these cause the car not to run . The TPS sensor reads the position of the flapper in the TB . This is what i think is my problem cause if the car is getting spark and fuel the only thing missing is AIR . But it looks like all the sensors are sort of doing the same thing like a chain . I also found out my AD fan fuse keeps blowing i don't really car because i don't have AC but and i can just leave it unplugged . |

Do not have either A/C or P/S they were deleted when i 1st brought the car . I think i might of figured it out looks like i had some wires crossed on my AFM . Fixed that and cleared the codes and they don't show back up which is a good thing . But now i get code 25 which is some fuel vacuum shit i don't even know why that would set off i never touched those wires .
I couldn't check to see if things were right last night because my battery is dead . I'm going to charge the battery tonight and see what happens . |
