Mine (and my guess for most people) is made from composite and already comes with a primer-like finish on it. Had em for 6 month now maybe? They are a little wavy and chipped in some spots (smashed them on the ground cause im super low) but they are still in good condition and i conintue to get compliments for how nice they look

Guys,
There are 2 bolts holding the front rockers to the ''frame'' of the car. The base board will hit the bolts. What did you do about it? Did you trim the base board around the bolts? Now I'm off to Home Depot! Thanks |

I found a base board made of PLASTIC. It's light weight, easy to cut/shape with a dremmel and it will never delaminate, expend, rot...
I think it's the perfect product for it. I'm in the process of installing them on the car, I'll let you know how easy they are to work with. |

Directly from Lowes....
As far as the mounting go's I put self tapping metal screws on both ends and 3m tape down the center (not very aesthetically pleasing) but holds well and I stepped on the drivers side getting out today, thankfully there's fiberglass resin on it. |

GO LOOK! It's a hardware store, not Where's Waldo. They make stuff intentionally easy to find, because they WANT you to buy it. Go ask the dude in the blue apron, lol.

Doing this today. I just cut them down into a 5ft section, rounded out the edges, and painted the first coat of semi-gloss black. I will post my results when I finish.
