Default Ugly TSI gaps

Its not really that much of an issue with the Turn signal intakes if they are left black, But when painted...the gaps between the TSI and bumper look a mile wide..White is the worst..

I noticed that the bottom of the TSI is not flat...it curves up...So I slapped some bondo on them to correct and level the bottom out

Kept sanding till there was no gap when sittin on flat surface

After test install, I noticed that there was still a gap even with correcting the flat bottoms

The holes where the TSI screw to the bumper made the TSI lead back creating a gap.. SO i added bondo to the top of the area that screws flush with the Bumper to angle it down

...Primed and installed...No gaps..looks amazing

I wish they actually came from the factory with this fit

Still have to be completely wet sanded and painted but you get the idea

What brand TSI are those? Original Zest? Or some generic copy?

Therein lies your problem. White. But you did a great job at fixing it! The tight fit looks great!

I'm fortunate to have dark paint.
