Re: Oregonmon's white 1990

Here's a little more low. If I want any sort of rear travel on the rear this is about as low as I feel comfortable with.
But I should be able to get good camber numbers in the front.

Re: Oregonmon's white 1990

I have FCM top hats all four corners but the tallish Konis prevent getting much lower. I wonder if the new Garage Star top hats would be of benefit.

Re: Oregonmon's white 1990

Those are just nb top hats.

Yes, you need the garage star top hats. The shock body goes into the top hat. Assuming your coils don't bind, you gain a lot of travel while sacrificing droop travel. But assuming you've got good sways and aren't rock crawling , you'll be fine.

Re: Oregonmon's white 1990

I think the Garagestar hats will be a nice alternative to trying to source the ISC's. Their site and communication hasn't always been the greatest from what I've seen.

Ken does an awesome job of getting products out fast. If you do go with an extended rear hat I would be hesitant to go taller than 1". There's some interesting convo on M.net (I believe) about the taller ISC hats being less than ideal.

Re: Oregonmon's white 1990

So much fun on 13" Hankook Zovac studded tires. We got a fair amount of snow the last couple days and I had to get out and see what the car would do. The car seemed nearly unstoppable, ride height was the biggest concern, not the traction.

Re: Oregonmon's white 1990

Happy 25th Aniverssary to all Miata out there!
Mine got 2 little gifts in the mail today.

External mic for Gopro Hero 3, read that a lot of guys got good sound from this $20ish mic.

And off eBay, these later NA8 door handles. I noticed passengers tended to look for something to hold onto and my current door panels only had this bright red strap. But that opens the door. :)
So I'm going to look at installing maybe just one on the passenger side. I don't need one in the driver's seat.

Re: Oregonmon's white 1990

Took a minute today to clean up my TR C1 wheels since they were off the car. Also cleaned the garage floor from the nasty snow melt.
Rescheduled alignment for Thursday morning.
