Good to see this car has a build thread now.

Fixed pics.

Currently took out the carpet as seen before. Hmmm

Not the greatest fab work I've ever seen lol. Thats ok. Plan on cleaning everything up a bunch and plating, doing some strengthening myself to help out. This thing has been going for years with roughly 10k miles on the "conversion"

At the to rollbar or not stage

This will hopefully stiffen things up a bit and theyvalways look rad. But something about leaving it is appealing too. But without bars can I get on track and battle with some guys and make awesome video?

I'm a little sad that you got this for cheaper than I got my 92. I want to see it towing a matching half miata trailer like Esteban at Redline made. Something like this:

That being said I love this ridiculous thing. Its ridiculous.

ermehgersh... a hard top for this thing would be both ridiculous and epic. What about a fastback?

I'd say get a pair of FWD BP's and put one in front and one in back to make it a 3.6L 8 cylinder AWD 4 seat miata.

Could you make it any stranger? lol.

Pushmi-pullyu would be stranger. So much engineering for that though.

I'll confess to not knowing what that is... Front engine drives rear wheels, rear engine drives front wheels?

*edit, wikipedia answered it, and also made me more interested in reading the Dr. Doolittle book(s?).

This thing is fucking cool! Regarding the roll bars, I think it will ruin the lines but also take away from the potential experience from those sitting inside. Why not a roll bar way in the back behind the backs seats and also throw in long door bars? Looks like maybe you can even put two padded mats on the back deck for additional two seats( preferably chicks) and maybe use the rear rollbar as a back rest.

For sure get some sounds in that thing man, make it a party car

I'm curious how much leg room you have in the back seats.
