No order to some of these posts. But here is my fuel pump installation.

Walbro 450. Hella solid state relay. PWM fuel pump control.

Well the last few people who installed a walbro450 did a shit job of documenting it. Probably because it was all covered in fuel and smelly. I'm doing this outside the car with a spare fuel pump assmebly so I took a bunch of pictures.

A couple notes.
- Fuck Racetronix. They charge $50 for a piece of shit bulkhead connector with a shitty mounting tab and shitty everything. It sucks. I hate it. Fuck racetronix. Again. In the ass.
- I reused the stock insulator on the bottom, there might be one that fits a walbro450, but who knows. This one worked.
- I used heatshrink everywhere that metal touched the pump. Trying to keep noise down.
- Waiting on crimpers for 12 gauge wire and then I will wire in the pump with solid state relay.
- Run a stock sock instead of the walbro sock. So you don't get fuel starvation.

Here is what I ended up with for wiring so far. Had to go to dinner so didn't get the pumps swapped.

Grommet into the tank area.

12awg harness wrapped in sheathing. Spade terminals for the relay, ring terminals for the battery.

Hose clamps holding on the wiring. Might switch to zip ties if I need those hose clamps back at some point. I need some of the zip ties that you can stick in the holes.

Ground and F/P wire taken from the stock connector.

And here it is hooked up for testing with the stock pump. There is about a 1/16 of an inch of dirt covering the entire tank.

That is all for tonight. I'll dig up more stuff later.

Another bit of unique tech I added to my build. Using the stock ABS sensors as wheel speed inputs to the MS3. This allows for straight-line traction control, and other fun stuff.

Wiring was....uh...fun?

Some random install pics. I wish I had taken more.

Example of how all my joints are done

And my personal favorite part of the build. SADFab full delrin kit with spherical rear upper control arms, Bauer ELBJ and 949 Racing Gen2 Xidas.

Bunch more pictures. Install is going well so far. Needed to borrow a big drill to bore out the Delrin but otherwise got everything else done. Drilled and tapped all the arms except the RUCA for zerks (need to test clearance on that one. I can't get over how good these things look.

Rear bearings pressed in, waiting on arp studs before the hubs go back in. Also repacking my front hubs with CV2.

ABS lines are a bitch, nothing fits right, and I'm tempted to just start from scratch. They don't bend well and everything is all sorts of tangled up.

I also got my oil pressure and both temp sensors installed, and some pigtails made for them. Waiting for some sleeving to come before I put the wiring in for good. Also bought like 500ft of TXL 22 gauge wire for all the sensors and ABS sensors.

And moar pictures for you guys. Including some install pics and press pictures.

One more for today. On my current setup I run a max of 14 psi. So a low and high boost setting works ok. But with the next setup I plan to run upwards of 25psi. And having a good range of available boost settings make everyone happy. This can also be used for traction control and launch control settings.

Put together a "rotary potentiometer" yesterday.

Its a 5 position rotary switch with resistors between every position. Then the rotary switch changes the measurement point every turn.

This gives me a 5 position potentiometer that will be used to control boost levels, traction control slip, and launch control.

Serious question. What does "straight line" traction control mean?

A full blown traction control system (Like a racelogic box) will take wheel speed from all 4 corners and take into account turning and other factors when determining wheel slip.

MS3 traction control only works on 2 wheel speed sensors (front and rear) so it is good for drag racing, or "straight-line" traction. As soon as you start adding in turning, or lifting a rear wheel, etc, it can get confused.
