it'll be a pretty good project since i've already got my hands on a ton of parts to go on it already. i'll be getting dirty this week cleaning it up for the start of the project.
awesome, bro I dumped so much stuff in the trash you could have used for this project. I mean suspension, seats, interior parts even a hood and fenders. Good luck
damn bro, all that stuff would have come in super handy now. but its ok. the car is getting work done on it as much as i can. when you gonna help out on the project?
got the car from some guy locally that does miata stuff. i was referred to him by a fellow forum member. car is in good shape for what i want to do, so i'm happy.
a freebie list would be great. i'd just have to sit down and see what i still need as i already have alot of the parts for the car as it is.
how about instead of a freebie list, we do a get together to do work on the car. anyone in south florida wanna help out with doing some work on the project?
finally got a nice HOT sunny day to continue doing some more work on the car. got around to top coating all the areas i previously painted with undercoating and completely painted the engine bay, windshield cowl area and the rear of the car.
you gotta love working in this south florida heat. I went out to my car at about noon yesterday to do the charcoal canister delete and felt like i was going to die from the heat.
100% agree. for the average to experienced guy wrenching time is always done in the cold months, october, november december and january. The rest of the year is only reserved for minor miscellaneous work on the car and lots of driving.
Working under the sun in this Florida Heat is like mental torture....
got around to drilling the hole for the driver side wiretuck project. not the prettiest, but once the wires and set in there, you will never see the actual hole.
and now with the wires run through the hole. gotta go back though and adjust things since the "chassis" bracket on the inside of the hole is somewhat in the way, i have to cut it back some so that the rubber grommet sits better in the hole.
next up will be to actually undo all the wiring from the harness and clean it all up and place it correctly. thats gonna be one LONG day in the sun
ok everyone. so made some more progress on the project over the weekend.
Big thanks to Hyper for the help on the wiretuck. got alot done on the wire tuck and the driver's side is just about done. will start tackling the other side soon.
been busy cleaning up and painting small miscellaneous parts at home and also trying to get my hands on alot of parts for the project.
well, i'll post up progress pics soon and thanks for checking in
