I was thinking 150HP would be a nice number, but who knows. More gains after I build bottom end too I guess.

Quick update!

http://omgpham.com/itb-build-part-15

For the last week I've been slowly working on the engine wiring. My goal wasn't to tuck anything, but more of a general clean up and make it look neat and easy to access.

Wiring was made from scratch, straight to the Megasquirt and power board. I used brand new connectors/terminals and Deutsch plugs whenever I could.

The air filters and hose clamps will be replaced with better parts very soon.

Beautiful work as usual. If you do it 'right' there's no need for a tuck.

ITB Build Part 16 - http://omgpham.com/itb-build-part-16

More progress today!

Picked up all my Aeroflow fuel fittings from Race Car Engineering. Fittings are all push lock style, black and -6AN size. Thanks to the guys at Auto Xperts for advice and supplying the hose, looks OEM and I prefer it over the black braided stuff I bought earlier.

For extra security hose clamps were also used.

Hoses completed and installed!

I don't wanna know how much you spent on AN fittings and sleek hoses like that.

But if you wanna sell me your black braided hose I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

Fittings were cheap, average around $8AUD each. Hose was $10/meter. Will sell my braided stuff but I'm not sure if shipping from the Australia is cheap enough.

Got her running thanks to a few mate's giving me a hand.

It's yet to be tuned, just got it started and idling at a reasonable AFR. Have to look into stiffer engine mounts too.

ITB Build Complete! - http://omgpham.com/itb-build-complete

Even though I say "complete" I really don't mean it, I will keep building and working on my car. It never ends! And I think many out there can relate

Big thanks goes out to mate Ian for helping me the last couple of days to get it running. A few issues here and there but all sorted now.

I've done about 500kms already and have loved every second of it. The noise and power increase, the engine has brought the car to a new level and I'm absolutely stoked with the results. Can't wait to build the high compression bottom end!

I was a bit slack with the photos, was too caught up in the moment. But here are a few snaps anyway.

Ian producing a base map for the engine.

The idle was really rough and shaking the engine a lot, once the throttle bodies were balanced everything became very smooth and idle was much nicer.

A few early mornings were involved to get the cold start idle and cranking settings.
