A good friend of ours is going V-8 and he happens to be working in SAT tomorrow so I'll have a few more pieces... One of them will force my hand to finally pick a set of revlimiter.net gauges so I can actually install it!

Hold on there. Are you saying you're not 100% dedicated to being JDM?

Where did you end up getting it done? Does it feel smooth in the door/ignition? (Assuming the key isn't for Scrat)

I need to get mines done.

Based on my experience, you need to find a local locksmith - not a big box store or dealership. Preferably, you want the oldest, crotchiest guy available and then tell him something like, "I doubt you can actually get this to work, but I figured it was worth a shot. Those guys at Home Depot are definitely worthless..."

I got mine done at Cothron's in Austin as I was passing through on my way to Dallas. As mentioned, you gotta find an old timer. The guy that cut mine put up a bit of a fight but when it was all said and done it worked as advertised on the first turn.

The original owner thought it wise to put a 'jesus fish' on the car on day 1. Despite my best efforts, there was no ridding the car of a semi-shiny jesus fish w/ star of david in the middle. black roadster had a Euro panel so I made the deal and swapped rear finish panels today.

It's not like the car isn't already three colours so why not four?!? Much improved in my opinion.

Part 1 of 2 from atx miata. Corksport exhaust today and another goodie is being shipped next week.

And a better shot of the steering wheel.

Haven't had a chance to drive it yet but plan on a quick spin this evening. Sounds awesome at idle but that's all I know for now.

Your's is beyond loud after all the track days you've done I'm surprised you haven't been cited for excess noise

I kept on getting tickets for illegal exhaust because when it rained, the noise would just seem to echo off the road and make it even louder and cops kept pulling me over. And whenever I would go through parking garages or quiet neighborhoods, any blip of the throttle would set off car alarms around me........more cops involved. lol Thats the only reason I got rid of it.
