Default Classic red from The Netherlands (Europe)

Hi.. Here my little story about my mx5 project...

2 years ago, i bought my first Mazda MX5..
Glad like a child i drove it to my home.. with a big smile on my face.

This is the car how i bought it.
In meantime i did a lot of work on the car.
I added some red leather to the interior...

Another steeringwheel and leather chairs in red / black.
I added also a couple of clear bumperlights.
Then i tought my rims are not what is should be...
Because new rims are very expensive for me, i painted the originals black and added a red line to it.

So when i painted them black, another problem was comming up...
My little car looks like a 4x4...
So i had to lower it....
I added some new coilovers to lower it 3 a 4 cm's....

In meantime i added DRL in the grille an painted the mirrors black...
A little black spoiler added to the trunk....

Because i missed something on the back, i bought some styling bars... Very nice extra !

After i added the styling bars, i painted the aroundings from the front windows black (don't know how to call it in english)

Because i added a lot of black parts to my car, i tought it would be nice to smoke the bumperlights and added some led lights..
I also bought a bumperlip in black !

I also smoked my sidemarkers and sideblinkers...

i bought a new rooftop.... Very nice piece of fabrik.
I wanted to buy a Vinyl one, but someone emailed me with a very, very good offer.
I could buy a one year old fabrik rooftop for the same money i should pay for a vinyl one..

So, i bought it ans i'm very happy with it...

See the pictures...

After that i added some lazy eyes... nothing special, but it's fun !

New taillights and other Rims...

I like these because they are wider then my old rims..

What do you think ?

I attached a Tow loop on my little car...
I also painted the MX5 logo on the grille..

I made Low profile headlights by myself...

Buying new ones was to expensive for me so i made it myself.

First i had to find out how to make the lights going open less far...
That was no problem.. i shortened the bars in the headlight units and bend the pivots from the headlight motors.

I bought 2 headlights from a company in germany for under the 100 euro's...

This is the result

To see the difference between original and my DIY low profiles :

Added a twin exhaust... Nice sound..

I bought me a new Cat and a stainless steal manifold...

After that, i added some stainless steal to my dashboard..

So, my 5 year old doughter want to make a new 'horn' for me... So she did....

The word 'toeter' means Horn in Dutch

I also added some extra gauges.....

A new spoilerlip...
I removed the black little one, and added a new red one.... I like it....

In meanwhile i bought a new steering wheel....
first i bought a flat one, but they did deliver me a deep dish.....
I think i will hold it.... it's a nice wheel....

A new Audio/Navigation system is build in...
And new carpets are in the car....

i also painted the spoilerlip in semi-glossy black....

And that's how i drive my mx5 at this moment.... 2 years after buying it...

So it's a long story, but hey, who cares...
