HI guys, been real slow on here lately. Hopefully everyone is enjoying their cars.
Got rid of the sausage filter and went with the outerwears booties.
Also got a zoom passenger side head light lid to help with the AIT temps. The car seems to like it.

Also got a Bluetooth dongle for MS and a tablet for shadowdash/msdroid use.
Which btw completely sucks and loses connection all the time. Ended up using a USB connection.
Used a proclip set up to mount it to the windshield.

Did some more driving and stuff.

Found out that I need a one way valve in the brake booster line.
Almost pooped my pants when I couldn't brake lol.
Got an NB sport non abs booster, going to need to find some NB non abs brake lines.

Also built an AR pistol!
My first build. Used Midwest Industires everything.
10.5" barrel, billet upper and lower, hard buffer, forward blast diverter.

I think that AR needs its own build thread.

That's MSDROID yeah? Shadowdash connects right up for me and the EFI Analytics dongle but MSDROID doesn't connect. Did you have to do anything else to connect with USB? Is the MS USB supply power to tablet?

You need a USB OTG adapter. It doesn't power the tablet.

Bluetooth has always worked better for me with msdroid. Probably just a setup issue.

I've never actually used shadowdash long enough to see if it cuts out.
For msdroid the Bluetooth would cut out using the efi branded dongle.
I went through one or two mt.net threads where people were losing Bluetooth connection due to the most recent update.
I'm not using Bluetooth on anything else while in the car.
Right now I'm using an OSG adapter to USB, usb extension, and db9 to USB until I can hash it out.

Hopefully I can say that soon. The stupid length of USB cable is annoying.

To the other guys asking about the ar pistol build thread.
I only have before and after pics, unfortunately no bulls pics as my fingers were covered in lube.

I have a 1.6 with 264 9mm lift cams, and I had the shop take .060 off of the factory thickness. I'm coming up on 2k miles and everything works fine. I was pretty close to the valve seats with that big of a shave though.

edit: LOL. I just realized how old that post was. My bad.

Hey guys thank you!
Fixed it by switching to the Toyo cop set up and reinstalling a 1k resistor in the diagnostics port.
Thanks to TSE for making a beautiful harness and to Garage star for the beautiful cop bracket.

<3

So I've been thinking that I want to rip out my currently sketchy wiring harness and replacing it with a custom harness.

I might be out of my mind but I would like to build an MS3 (not plug and play) and using the prebuilt 10' harness to db37 connector to but my new harness.

I think would run ignition/lights/ aux fan, and whatever else on a painless/longacre switch panel.

Someone stop me.

I have the same thoughts too. As much as I liked my AEM PnP, I'm tired of finding broken OEM wiring.

Hello squad. Stand by for 4.77 final drive and rx7 clutch type rear end install.
My torsen is going into my brothers car. I think he needs a build thread.

A 4.77 makes a big improvement in usable power coming out of the corners. We have one in out stock engine NA8 Chump Car and it pulls harder from the same corner than my built VVT motor and 4.3 final drive.

I'm hoping to wake up the car a little bit. I would have this done already but UPS has lost my diff.......

In other news I got some 115mm stacks printed.

WTF are you serious!?
Fingers crossed it's just hanging out in the corner of a warehouse, un-opened/un-damaged, waiting to be found.

Well it turns out UPS cannot locate it at all and it's officially gonezo.
I'm getting a refund so I guess I can just get another torsen and just pop it in.

115mm ABS printed stacks are on.
As long as the temps stay below 85* we're good.
Beats spending another $180 on t3 100mm stacks.
