Well some of you may know, I came from a background of 240's. I've finally gotten another one, by selling my old wheels.

This thread is gonna be a little slow, but it's gonna show how I get ready to get back on the track.

My first 240 went from:

So tonight, we were just hanging out at the shop, talking about plans for it, when I mentioned wanting to pull the motor. An hour later, and it was done.

The other ones were done when I was making no money. They looked like shit, but it's what you can't see. They had strut bars front and rear, 4-2-1 header, test pipe, 3"catback, injen intake, megan tie rods, full adjustable coils, etc.

Only thing I'm missing is power steering return lines. I have 2 dual cams in storage, along with harnesses, a cluster, and some other things.

Well for now, Dual cam swap, BC coils, Megan suspension links, Tein Tie Rods, CXRacing Aluminum Radiator, Shroud and Fans, etc.

It's gonna be as it sits in the looks department, other than a piggy lip. Once I get back to where I was and comfortable with my driving, it'll get a kit, and painted.

I don't know if they have changed but, the Megan toe rods and RUCAs I ran had too much play in the heim joints, resulting in binding and creaking unbearably. I've been much happier with the SPL units that replaced them.

My roommate has them, and hasn't had any issues, but I'll keep it in mind.

It's gonna be a while, but that's always been the plan. I started drifting open diff with a stock KA, and then when I got as much as I could out of it, I welded the diff. Now I'm gonna pick back up there, until I've gotten as much as I can out of the stock motor, then I'll boost it.

Coming along. So far, the engine, tranny,driveshaft,diff, and all the exhaust parts are out of the car.

I had to rent a Uhaul pickup to clear out my old storage unit the other day, which was pretty scary lol.

Alright, so this car is gonna start making some quick progress soon. Been stockpiling parts. Recently spent $330 on $517 worth of parts from Advance Auto. I love coupon codes.

So far, I have:

CXRacing Radiator/Shroud/Fans
CXRacing Silicon hoses
Isis High pressure power steering steel braided hose
Brake pads
Rotors
Spark plugs
Distributor cap/rotor
Water pump
Thermostat
Oil filter
Wires
Thermostat
Gaskets for intake mani, valve cover, rear main, oil pan, water pump, thermostat, and differential.
Front, Rear, and differential Strut bars
etc...
