Well some of you may know, I came from a background of 240's. I've finally gotten another one, by selling my old wheels.
This thread is gonna be a little slow, but it's gonna show how I get ready to get back on the track. My first 240 went from: ![]() ![]() to:: ![]() ![]() to::: ![]() ![]() ![]() My 2nd one went from:: ![]() ![]() ![]() to: ![]() And this is the new one:: ![]() ![]()

So tonight, we were just hanging out at the shop, talking about plans for it, when I mentioned wanting to pull the motor. An hour later, and it was done.

I don't know if they have changed but, the Megan toe rods and RUCAs I ran had too much play in the heim joints, resulting in binding and creaking unbearably. I've been much happier with the SPL units that replaced them.

Coming along. So far, the engine, tranny,driveshaft,diff, and all the exhaust parts are out of the car.
I had to rent a Uhaul pickup to clear out my old storage unit the other day, which was pretty scary lol. Well here's how it's sitting. Crappy phone pics. ![]() ![]()

Alright, so this car is gonna start making some quick progress soon. Been stockpiling parts. Recently spent $330 on $517 worth of parts from Advance Auto. I love coupon codes.
So far, I have: CXRacing Radiator/Shroud/Fans CXRacing Silicon hoses Isis High pressure power steering steel braided hose Brake pads Rotors Spark plugs Distributor cap/rotor Water pump Thermostat Oil filter Wires Thermostat Gaskets for intake mani, valve cover, rear main, oil pan, water pump, thermostat, and differential. Front, Rear, and differential Strut bars etc... |
