Well I recently picked up a new toy to serve as my daily driver. It's a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS:

Here are the current specs:
~153k on the body
-100k on the bottom end, 12k on the head
-head was rebuilt and mildly ported, Delta 1000 Cams, oversized valves
-all new gaskets, waterpump, etc etc
-Crawford Ecu with a generic tune for the setup
-Borla equal length headers
-High flow cat section
-Borla cat back
-Megan racing motor mounts, pitch stop, and trans mount
-KYB AGX with some sort of lowing springs
-Both the coupe and sedan spoilers
-F/R seats out of a 2006 WRX
-new headlights, JDM clear corners
-STI fog light covers
-stock wheels with snow tires, and 98 goldies with nice summer tires
-new brakes, wheel bearings, starter, battery, etc etc.

Couple more pics from when I brought it home:

It's got a few small issues, but nothing major. I'll keep updating as parts start arriving, but for now that's about all there is to it! I signed up to do a winter auto-x on Jan 22nd with it up in NH which I'm really excited about.

Thanks guys! The worst bit is the front bumper. The rust in the rear quarters that plagues all these of cars was taken care of already. There really isn't any rust under the hood or on the chassis either. It certainly was well cared for in its previous life.

I approve of this purchase! ha needs real gc8 front end, and rs wing
Edit: and a roof vent!

like so:

All RS's have a sunroof, so a roof vent just isn't possible. I like the RS bumper too (want to add a v6 sti lip to it). As for the wing there were 2 different USDM RS wings. The sedan version is currently on the car, and the coupe (which is the one you are referring to) is in the backseat in one of the pics.

First new parts showed up today... woot!

OE clear corners as well as a Prodrive shift knob a buddy gave me.

I went out and installed them, but it's too dark for pics.

Update on the subi, but I haven't taken any pictures yet. I swapped out the amber bumper and fender lights for the clear variants, installed a set of fog lights, and wired up a sub.

just went out for a bit to play in the snow. AWD+blizzaks+snow=amazing. I stopped partway up every hill I could find, and had no problem making it to the top. One of the hills I actually had to drive around a cop and another car that couldn't make it up! Got the nod of approval from the cop as I passed by, made my night...haha

No pics as I was having too much fun!

I'm extremely jelly of you Mr.Mighty Mouse! The rs is such an awesome car especially if you live where there is snow. Please don't lower it you will not get to play in the rough stuff and this car just craves playing in the dirt/snow.

It's actually lowered a little bit believe it or not! I won't be lowering it much more, if at all though. It's nice blasting over speedbumps and snowbanks!

Supposed to snow for the winter-x, can't freaking wait!

Snow auto-x was awesome today! I'm hooked, can't wait to do another event. You can see all the new lights installed in this pic as well. I still have to pop out the orange vents and paint them, but not until it warms up.

and one of most of the course...
