Probably one of the cleanest and coolest EG's I've seen in a long while, I also like EG's so this gets a big thumbs up from me.

I took a wheel and tire with me to work today (I can only fit one separated wheel and tire in the Miata) and got it mounted!

It was SUPER easy to seat, too. First try, like a pimp. :cool
Again, this is a 165/45 on a 15x8.5", so here's the result!

Me neither! Haha I'm so ready to get these wheels on. The Z looked good at the stance meet, by the way! It's got character, for sure.

In other news, here's why I had to put off getting tires for a couple of weeks...

Work Equip Anhelos! Just showed up yesterday afternoon. The two I got with lips and barrels are 17x10.5" +13, but I'm considering getting 1/4" of an inch milled off of two of the faces, then getting 1/4" bigger lips and 1/4" smaller barrels. That's mainly so everything would be brand new, but we'll see what I come up with. The fronts will be 9.5" +13. I trying to decide what finish I want with the faces, though... Polished would be easiest/cheapest, but I'm heavily considering brushed with polished windows. Decisions, decisions!

Back to the Civic, I'll probably have the tires ordered by Friday, then once those arrive and I put them on the wheels, I'll do all of the front end parts/bushings and put the camber arms on. Then it's off to get an alignment so it'll be good to go!
Here's a picture I found from a meet we had in OKC a couple of weekends ago.

Well, I'll give you credit... this is the first car on wide steelies that I've liked in a while. Probably since most of the cars running them are complete shit. Yours is super clean tho. I dig it!

Well, they're on.

The first outing was CupCake Meet 13 here in OKC! Definitely a good time, and a crazy good reception of the car.

I've found a ton of pics people took, but here's a few of the wheels/fitment for now. :cool

I'm pretty anxious to see the shots this guy took as well, since he had me move my car into the sun and turn the wheel a bit. Haha This is the 'teaser' he posted...

Also, I've found a guy to make custom aluminum centercaps for the wheels (thanks to charlie_91), so we'll see how that goes! And I'll have Spoon mirrors on the way (only one will be used!) as soon as I make the call today.

Not usually a fan of the slammed stuff, cuz I like autoxing my car, but this EG looks sweet as hell! Love the simplicity of it, all white, like a bowl of vanilla ice cream...perfect.

I've only driven one B16 before, and it was a bone stock Si, but it was awesome. Revs so easily. Great choice of motor.

Perfect fitment on the rear. The front though is what leads to fucked fenders when hitting bumps lol

Looks awesome. Not much of a honda civic fan, but this is very well executed

I can dig it. If you post this around tumblr, you will be internet famous in a matter of hours from all the high school kids & their love of fitment. This reminds me of my friend's K20 eg back in San Diego though. Good stuff!

Haha, thanks! Yeah, I love my little B16A. I haven't driven a US-spec one, but the JDM one has a little higher compression pistons and different cams for 12 extra horsepower or something (~170, total). My ECU really woke it up, too. In a sub-2,000 pound car, it's definitely fun!

I appreciate it! And alas, that's not possible. The rear wheel usually tucks like 1/8" when the car is just sitting (there's tiny, tiny lines on the edge of the wheel from grazing the inside of the quarter panel). The stretch definitely helps it miss the spring and the top of the wheel well, though!

Thanks! Haha, trust me, it took a shit load of work to get the front to sit how it does, plus make sure that it can't make wheel-to-fender contact. It makes for a wild ride, though!

Here's a couple more pics for now...

This is like one of three shitty pics I took while I was there. Haha

I like this one because of the mass amount of neck-breaking going on with the only people around it. Plus the car just looks redonkulous.

Also, it looks like I've got a hefty wait for the Spoon mirrors. Special order only... So we're looking at a couple of months or so! I could do the 1 week EMS shipping, but it takes the shipping cost from like $60 to $125, so I don't know... I'm not in any rush. Haha

I like it. Can you get a pic of the paint in the sun up close? I wanna see the blue. I don't normally like a white pearl with a color mixed in like blue, yellow, etc. But yours looks great in all the pics!

Ew, I HATE white with the yellow-ish pearl. So I know what you mean! Haha It's definitely not like that. I'll try to get some pics of it next time I have it out in the sun.

Few more pics from the meet because I'm bored...
