SlipNSlide's Budget-daily Project 92 Honda Accord

Hey guys, I just picked up a daily and thought I'd throw it up here since I'll be getting to work on it someday soon.

Here's the specs:

1992 Honda Accord
158K miles
Automatic
Frost white - exterior
Light Blue - interior
American Alloy Wheels - tarnished as hell

Goals for the build:
- Not spend too much money on buying it check
- Money I do spend, goes towards comfort and convieniece with a minor attention towards appearance. (hell i have to be seen in it everyday right?!)

I can't stand to drive a car I havnt worked on. It still doesnt feel like my car after these last couple of days because I havn't done anything except fill her up and drive her to work and back a couple times. Luckily, there are a few things I have to work on coming up.
-A/C doesn't blow cold, sounds like I hear the condensor turn on but I think it needs freon
-New headunit isn't hooked up so no radio
-Rear tint is bubbled and tint only on 2 windows

These are all really important things in a daily so at least I'll have something to keep me busy.

Here are some pictures, snagged a hell of a deal on it, paint and interior are very clean!

I went and looked at a 92 coupe a while back. The interior was immaculate, looked like no one had ever even sat in it. Exterior was the exact opposite. GLWS.

I hate this car.

Thermostat gets stuck and blows up radiator hose, alternator goes out, blow a tire, water pump is about to take a shit.

I've fixed everything except the water pump which I'm dreading. I really dont want to do it

but I definitely dont want to pay someone to do it for me. I guess I'll change this from a build thread to a fucking repair thread.

Was up until 2:30 am last night repairing the car.

Changed the following parts:
Timing Belt
Tensioners
Water Pump
Alternator belt
Power Steering belt
Coolant flush

If this makes the car nice and reliable I will be one happy camper.
