So awesome. Planning a turbo on the bp? Would be awesome! Heck, a mp62 looks to be right at home too.

Haha it's just the way it's configured, looks like an easy job for a hotside setup.

I'll more than likely be turbo turboing it, just simply due to the lower cost. I have an extra hx35...but thats kinda overkill lol. Not even sure they make a manifold for this head, read somewhere that the exhaust flange is different from the dohc.

Lol, I would like so much flake that it actually feels like sandpaper when I touch it.

Hrmm can the bp05 head fit on the bp01 block? Atleast off the shelf turbo manifolds would exist. I'd imagine more power too.

I quite like the idea of a HX35 in there lol. Just going to need some rods and maybe pistons. Is the bp01 small nose crank? Might be another issue...

I've been researching this alot lately and have found mixed answers. But I have read that the bp05 head will bolt on. some swapping of the belt tensioner may be needed. The bp01 bottom end is essentially the same, aside from a lighter cast crank, and slightly lower compression. All BP rods, pistons will work. Suppossedly in 91.5 they switch all bp01s to the big nose crank, aso any later bp crank should work. I have 1.8 miata head laying around, and a complete bottom end with some slight wall scarring. Wonder if its worth swapping the crank...? Only thing that worries me with swapping the heads are the difference in sensors, and obd1/obd2 problems. Seems to be very uncharted territory.

Well now I'm just rambling lol.

Found some super old pics of the car....threw on some baby supras and the scoop for lulz. Neither stayed on after the pic, car couldn't move lol.

I miss this color!!!!!

I sanded the car down to have it profesionally painted white, but it never happend. So it stayed primer for a while, until the A-team scheme came to life lol.

That teal color is awesome. I'll second the motion that the car gets painted back to that color.

In related news...here's someone who is really proud of the Festiva they're selling. lol @ price

Mid wheel mounting...its going to take an exsessive amount of cutting, hammering, bending, pulling, rolling, cussing, and screaming to get these to not rub...and be low.

The fronts are perfect...and by perfect I mean that they look like shit but work.

LOL yeah if that car came with a duffel bag in the back stuffed with 3500 single ones...he'd still be asking a bit much. These are practically desposable cars. If its 1500 bucks, it better be showroom mint.
